About:
JD Ross is representing an established Dutch company, known for its expertise, who operates in the renewable energy sector in the Benelux and internationally. They specialize in solar development, solar panel installations, BESS, EV-charging, and more. They are looking for a hands-on head of development to take over their team and Dutch activities.
This global leader in renewable development and construction has a strong track record: their solutions encompass solarparks, rooftop solar, ESS, and hydrogen projects. With a robust annual net profit (10 Mill+), extensive experience (10+ years), and a presence in multiple countries (13+ countries), this company has proven itself in the renewable energy field, successfully realizing significant PV projects and has over 1GW in the pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Dutch development team in strategy and operations.
  • Conduct investment and strategy talks and take over portfolios.
  • Develop projects hands-on.
  • Work on innovative BESS and hydrogen solutions as per client and project profile.
  • Work closely with the C-suites for successful project cycle and strategic decisions.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of managerial experience with direct reports.
  • Experience with the full development life cycle (land acquisition, permitting, financial close).
  • Deep knowledge of the solar and renewable landscape in the Netherlands.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach.
  • Ability to work in a flexible and dynamic environment.
  • Readiness for short-communication lines.
  • Dutch & English speaker.
  • Ability to travel around Netherlands for project visits.
  • Ability to come to office in the North of the Netherlands around 2 days a week.
