JDRoss have partnered with a long-term client of ours who are looking for our Senior Technical Advisors for cable projects. A unique business that has been delivering engineering solutions for marine cables over the last 20 years.
With offices in the UK and Europe, this will be a key role within the business focusing on supporting the clients in cable design, management, or execution. You would be traveling when required to the offices in Germany, UK, Netherlands, or Denmark.
They’re a small agile business that has intentionally stayed small in order to deliver the highest quality service from their expert in-house staff.
What you will be doing
- You will provide high-quality technical advice and guidance on our projects, helping clients move forward.
- You utilize your years of relevant experience, specifically in offshore projects, to drive innovation and optimize project outcomes.
- You apply your academic engineering background to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, both remotely and at client offices, to ensure seamless project execution.
Your experience
- You have 7+ years of relevant experience in the offshore cable/pipeline installation sector.
- Your academic engineering-level education (or similar qualification) ensures you are the go-to person in your field of expertise.
- Clear communication skills to engage with clients effectively.
- Ability to work independently with a problem-solving attitude. This client offers the freedom to manage your own schedules. They are looking for experienced professionals who can add their own expertise.
