Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer AI at Jedox, you’ll play a central role in shaping the data infrastructure that powers our AI/ML services. You’ll lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines—ensuring our platform delivers high-quality, reliable insights to customers. Your work will directly support AI-driven analysis, helping us innovate and grow in a data-driven world.

• Design, build, and manage robust data architectures and pipelines for AI/ML workflows independently.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Select and manage effective data storage and processing solutions optimized for AI workloads.
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices to strengthen team capabilities.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and advocate for technologies that drive continuous improvement.

Your Profile

• Experienced Data Engineer (+8 years) with a passion for and background in AI/ML.
• Skilled in designing and implementing robust data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts.
• Strong experience in data modeling and optimizing storage solutions for structured, unstructured, and vector data.
• Proficient in designing and developing production-ready data solutions for AI/ML, including data observability, big data processing, streaming frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka), data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Airflow), and observability tools.
• Proficient Python developer with strong querying skills in SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience with AI/ML frameworks.
• Ideally familiar with challenges associated with cube-based data sources.
• Proficient in working within agile environments.
