Investment Banking | Senior Associate / Vice President

We are looking to add an experienced Senior Associate or first-year Vice President to our Investment Banking team in Frankfurt.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the franchise at a point of continued growth and momentum. Over recent years, we have continued to invest in our DACH business, including the addition of senior bankers from leading global institutions, further strengthening our position in the market.
The team is working across high-quality mid-cap mandates, strategic public and private M&A, large-cap sponsors and corporates, alongside broader cross-product opportunities including Leveraged Finance and continuation vehicles.
The opportunity
At Senior Associate / VP level, you will have the opportunity to take on genuine responsibility within the team, including:
- Taking a leading role in the execution of live transactions
- Working closely with senior bankers and directly with clients
- Managing and mentoring junior bankers
- Developing your client and commercial skillset beyond pure execution
- Increasing your involvement in origination and business development
- Contributing to the continued development of our Investment Banking franchise in Frankfurt
The role should particularly appeal to someone who has developed strong execution experience but is now looking for greater ownership, increased client exposure and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in the next stage of a growing franchise. This reflects the remit discussed internally for the hire.
Who we are looking for
We are keen to speak with high-quality investment bankers currently operating at Senior Associate or first-year VP level, ideally with:
- Strong M&A / corporate finance execution experience
- Excellent financial modelling, valuation and transaction-management skills
- Experience working within a leading investment bank or advisory platform
- The ability to confidently manage junior team members and transaction workstreams
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- An interest in developing further towards origination and senior client coverage
