Technical Project Manager (m/f/d) - Digital Energy Management As a Technical Project Manager (mf/d) for Digital Energy Management, you serve as the key interface between customers (especially those operating complex power plants and municipal energy systems), internal development teams, and other stakeholders. You are responsible for the technical integration and onboarding of new customer sites, with a strong focus on complex systems. Your role includes ensuring functional interfaces with operators and control system manufacturers, as well as monitoring operations and evaluating portfolio performance and risk.

Your Responsibilities:
Derive and document customer requirements for integrating advanced power plants and energy systems into the INNIO Energy Management platform
Act as Product Owner in a Scrum environment, collaborating with development teams to implement customer solutions
Manage technical integration and onboarding of new customer sites, focusing on complex power plants and municipal energy systems
Coordinate interfaces with operators and control system manufacturers
Map customer assets as digital twins in the myplant Energy Management Software
Monitor operations and portfolio risk
Deliver solutions to customers, provide training, and ensure smooth handover and ongoing support
Identify and implement optimization opportunities (e.g., simulations, load management, schedule optimization)
Serve as technical point of contact for customers and interface with sales, partners, and internal teams
Your Profile:
Degree or qualification in automation, electrical engineering, energy technology, mechanical engineering, or similar field
Experience as Product Owner in a Scrum environment
Strong knowledge of IT interface integration (API, data protocols, IoT communication) and control/automation technology Experience with energy management systems, power plants, and the energy business
Proven experience as a technical project manager, ideally in large-scale or technically complex energy assets
Ability to lead customer workshops, document requirements, and work with development teams on advanced solutions
Experience in portfolio and performance management
Excellent communication skills, initiative, analytical thinking, and a structured working style
German language skills at native or near-native level (spoken and written) are essential.
