As aBid Manager , you will play a key role in developing and delivering strategic bids and sales initiatives within our Government Programs Capture Management organization. Working closely with the Sales team and other departments, you will lead complex bid processes from opportunity to execution and help turn strategic opportunities into successful outcomes.

Your Role

• Lead tenders and other bid initiatives from opportunity to execution.
• Develop and implement winning bid strategies in collaboration with Capture Management colleagues, Sales and other departments.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders , ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables.
• Manage bid timelines, budgets, quotations, reporting , and documentation.
• Support risk assessments, financial modelling, scenario analysis, and deal approvals .
• Lead customer and partner discussions and negotiations.
• Prepare concise executive briefs and decision materials for senior management.
• Support the transition from successful bids to program implementation.
• Use market and competitive intelligence to strengthen our bids and business development efforts.
• Continuously improve our capture and bidding processes.

Your Profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in aerospace or defence industry with a track record in government or military programs.
• 5-10 years of experience in project management or bid management
• Experience working in a matrix organization and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to translate financial, commercial, and technical data into clear, compelling executive presentations.
• Project management certification / accreditations are a plus
• A proactive, results-driven and pragmatic approach.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused mindset and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Fluency in English ; French and/or German are an advantage.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance where required.
