Overview In this role, you will lead the Jet Aviation Academy’s regional delivery across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa from Basel. You’ll translate business and regulatory needs into a focused training program, align global standards with regional realities, and drive measurable learning outcomes across multiple sites. You’ll build a scalable capability, manage budgets and vendors, and foster an engaged trainer community. This is a chance to shape governance, quality, and impact of learning in a complex, multinational aviation organization. Verantwortungsbereiche Drive regional training delivery by building the annual plan with business leaders, HR, and regional leadership Co-design learning solutions with SMEs and ensure consistent delivery quality across trainers and vendors Maintain compliance and audit readiness with qualified trainer capacity and complete training records Lead the regional Academy community by developing trainers and fostering collaboration Manage budgets, vendors, and learning data to provide a reliable regional view Leverage learning technology and data to improve outcomes and evaluate effectiveness Deliver leadership development modules and support high-impact workshops Act as the Academy ambassador to build trust and cross-functional alignment in the region Zentrale Anforderungen Regional or international experience in learning and development Experience in regulated, multi-site environments Proven ability to manage matrix structures and multiple stakeholders Strong expertise in adult learning, instructional design, facilitation, and evaluation Experience with multi-site training plans, calendars, and vendor management Proficiency with learning technology, budgets, and data handling Experience maintaining training records and ensuring compliance/audit readiness Excellent communication, planning, project management, and stakeholder skills Ability to influence without formal authority across cultures and locations Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus Willingness to travel regionally and globally Stakeholder engagement Strong communication Collaborative leadership Learning technology (learning platform management) Instructional design Training needs analysis
