IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY
Gentherm Medical is looking for an innovative Financial Analyst who can complete day-to-day responsibilities, raise issues, question decisions, and challenge leadership and cross-functional teams to drive cash, productivity, and profitability. This person is responsible for accurate financial reports for the business unit. This individual will also align local processes with the overall strategy of the Medical business. This role is critical to the organization as it provides analytics that drive decision making.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily responsibilities for Accounting activities.
- Cash management for Invoicing and Receivables as well as vendor payment.
- Leads monthly closing process and is aligned with tax consultant.
- Account reconciliations and controllership including Balance Sheet Reviews.
- Responsible for finance deliverables such as month-end close, planning/budget activities for the local business.
- Responsible for finance deliverables such as month-end close, planning/budget activities for the Global Medical business.
- Data integrity with LucaNet system interface.
- Backup for Payroll and other administrative requests.
- Capable of resolving complex or unusual business problems, while applying advanced analytical thought and judgment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
- 5 years of financial (including accounting) experience supporting manufacturing operations and distribution.
- Cross-functional team player.
- Report writing skillset for data analytics.
- Process-minded individuals with initiative to streamline processes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- CPA preferred but not required.
- Certified Accountant.
- Six Sigma Certification; Lean foundation (six sigma, A3 process thinking).
- Knowledge of systems: Microsoft Navision, LucaNet, Blackline, Business Objects.
