Are you a proactive engineer who loves optimizing processes and solving problems on the shop floor? We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for our client in Berne, IN, driving efficiency, safety, and quality across plant operations .
What You'll Do
Optimize Production: Conduct time studies, build Bills of Labor, and set labor rates .
Design & Layout: Create CAD drawings for workstations, plant layouts, and material flow systems .
Drive Efficiency: Build kanban systems, write clear operator work instructions, and automate processes to improve safety and throughput .
Analyze & Improve: Perform cost analysis, root-cause problem solving, and material/equipment testing .
What We're Looking For
Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (Associate or Bachelor's) .
Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office .
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills .
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or basic coding is a plus
