Your tasks

• Take full ownership of cloud infrastructure design, implementation and maintenance as part of the Infrastructure and Security team




• Take responsibility for a defined portfolio of products and internal systems such as the main Azure subscription




• Own and improve the operational lifecycle of assigned assets, including scheduled controls, maintenance and recovery exercises




• Design, build and maintain clean, efficient, reliable, tested and compliant infrastructure components




• Apply least privilege, secure configuration, protected secrets and useful audit logging in everyday engineering decisions




• Implement and operate technical controls, maintain evidence and resolve findings together with the security and compliance lead




• Contribute to the operational plan of the ISMS as well as to internal IT tasks, workspace connectivity and productivity tools




• Scout for and experiment with new technologies

Your profile

• MSc in Computer Science or equivalent education




• Experience building and operating production infrastructure including networking, identity management, storage and managed services, monitoring and containerization




• Practical infrastructure-as-code experience (Bicep in use; Terraform or comparable tools welcome)




• Ability to write and maintain useful code or scripts using Git, code reviews and appropriate testing




• Sound troubleshooting skills across applications, containers, operating systems and networks




• Practical security judgement: identifying and categorising risks, explaining trade-offs and proposing safeguards




• Great verbal and written communication skills in English; any other language is a plus

Nice to have: Azure Container Apps, Front Door/WAF, managed identities, managed PostgreSQL, CI/CD, observability, Google Cloud, ISO 27001 or ISAE 3402 environments
