The job:
As the e-commerce manager, you will be in charge of on-page marketing and optimisation as well as some digital marketing and paid ads. The main responsibility is the online store, where you will ensure that it’s perfectly tailored to the local market in terms of „look and feel“ and the provided information. Your daily work will include tasks like these:
- Directly consult customers in the Scandinavian markets (especially Denmark) and work across the lead funnel to increase sales
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns throughout the year, including themes, pricing, discounts, bundles, and more
- Keep prices, product descriptions, and website content updated according to the global standards and local needs
- Keep track of and be accountable for sales goals for Denmark
- Analyse performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with the creative team to create engaging content for marketing purposes
- Work closely with marketing to identify localised marketing opportunities
- Increase traffic and conversion rates, and enhance online presence through SEO and SEM techniques
- Implement process improvements and maintain data accuracy.
Your qualifications:
- You speak and write Danish at a native level and you are fluent in English (C1).
- At least 2 years experience managing an e-commerce store.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in B2C (online or offline).
- Hands-on experience with Google and Meta Ads is a plus.
- Proficiency in SEO, SEM, and social media advertising is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools.
- Knowledge of Shopify is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills as required to effectively communicate to a diverse audience.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, and great analytical skills to identify the root cause of the issue.
