We are looking for an Associate/Assistant Professor to drive impactful research and teaching of luxury business management, solidifying Glion\’s position as a thought leader in this niche. Focus on client experience, sustainability, marketing, guest experience, and sales in the luxury sector. Responsibilities: Research (60% workload):Conduct research on luxury business management in relevant areas, including hospitality, retail, aviation, etc. Publish findings in high-impact academic journals and present at international conferencesDevelop and enhance the Glion Research & Innovation Center, actively fostering a vibrant research culture within the institutionTeaching (40% workload):Design and deliver courses on luxury business management, sustainable luxury practices, and luxury marketing at undergraduate and graduate levelsCreate engaging learning experiences using diverse teaching methodologies, such as case studies, simulations, and group projectsProvide constructive feedback on student performance and mentor students to achieve academic successContribute to curriculum development and program reviews Profile and experiences: Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant fieldExpertise in luxury, consumer behaviour, and sustainabilityStrong track record in publishing research on luxury-focused topicsResearch skills: proven ability to design and conduct rigorous research, analyze data, and write for academic publicationSubject Matter Expertise: deep knowledge and understanding of luxury, consumer behaviour, and sustainabilityCommunication and interpersonal skills: strong written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students from diverse backgroundsLanguage proficiency: fluency in English is essential, proficiency in French is an advantage Other information: Type of contract: undefined period of time contractActivity rate: 100%Location: Rue de l\’Ondine 20, 1630 BulleStart date: 01.09.2025 jid4b04b0dafr jit0309afr
