Our customer is one of the world’s largest chemical groups with over 100,000 employees worldwide. Here we are currently looking for a permanent position in Cologne as:

Senior Software Engineer Frontend Web (m/f/d)

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. In your new role, you develop the customers Web client (TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Mapbox), tackling complex problems related to performance, working with a lot of geo-referenced data and integrations with partner systems.
2. As a Senior Software Engineer Frontend Web, you design new product features, search for optimal technical solutions and implement them.
3. You work with a cross-functional team of engineers, QA, product managers, designers and domain matter experts (agronomists, trial engineers).

QUALIFICATIONS

1. University degree in computer sciences, natural sciences, engineering, mathematics, GIS or related fields and several years of professional experience.
2. Several years of knowledge in frontend development experience.
3. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React and GraphQL.
4. Deep knowledge in Mapbox or similar mapping libraries is a plus.
5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English.
