Account Executive, Product Sales (BaaS) - Austria
We are looking for an Account Executive to drive the adoption and growth of Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) solutions across startups, SMBs, and digital‑native businesses. The role focuses on customer success, product excellence, and strategic sales ownership.
Accountabilities
Drive revenue growth, new customer acquisition, and expansion across a defined territory, focusing on BaaS products.
Build and execute proactive territory and outbound strategy to generate and qualify a strong sales pipeline.
Lead high‑level commercial and technical discussions with executive stakeholders.
Develop deep expertise in BaaS offerings and position solutions against competitive alternatives.
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, marketing, and technical teams to relay customer insights and influence product direction.
Contribute to creation and refinement of go‑to‑market playbooks and scalable sales processes.
Work cross‑functionally to ensure customer needs are translated into actionable product and business improvements.
Requirements
10+ years of customer‑facing experience in a technology, fintech, or payments‑focused environment with a strong performance track record.
Proven ability to build and maintain trusted advisory relationships with senior business and executive stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in managing complex, consultative sales cycles and negotiating bespoke commercial agreements.
Strong collaboration skills with experience working across multiple internal functions and external partners.
Highly self‑driven, proactive, and comfortable operating independently in a fast‑moving environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
Strong analytical mindset with ability to understand technical requirements and design tailored solutions.
Experience in payments or banking solutions sales is a strong advantage.
