This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Forma Industry Strategy based in Switzerland. This is a senior strategic leadership role focused on defining the future of a next‑generation cloud platform transforming the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) industry. You will shape long‑term product and go‑to‑market strategy, translating market intelligence, customer insights, and emerging technologies into actionable business direction. Working closely with product, sales, marketing, customer success, and executive leadership, you will help drive adoption of AI‑powered, data‑centric workflows across the built environment. The role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, requiring both analytical rigor and strong leadership. You will also serve as a key industry ambassador, engaging with customers, partners, and external stakeholders to champion the platform's vision. This is an opportunity to influence the digital transformation of a global industry while leading high‑impact strategic initiatives in a collaborative, international environment.
Accountabilities
Define and lead the long‑term strategy and go‑to‑market direction for an industry cloud platform, identifying growth opportunities, competitive differentiation, and strategic priorities.
Leverage qualitative and quantitative research, market intelligence, customer feedback, and AI‑driven insights to develop strategic recommendations and business cases.
Shape pricing, packaging, portfolio positioning, and adoption strategies to maximize customer value and market impact.
Develop executive‑level frameworks, strategic briefs, and recommendations that support informed decision‑making across leadership teams.
Act as a senior evangelist internally and externally, representing the platform with customers, partners, analysts, and at industry events to strengthen awareness and adoption.
Partner closely with product teams to ensure strategy is grounded in customer needs, product capabilities, and evolving market trends.
Align cross‑functional stakeholders across product, sales, marketing, customer success, and corporate strategy to ensure consistent execution of strategic initiatives.
Lead and develop a high‑performing strategy team while establishing effective operating rhythms across globally distributed teams.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in strategy, product management, go‑to‑market, management consulting, or related leadership roles, with significant exposure to the AEC industry.
Proven success leading strategic initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes in complex, matrixed organizations.
Deep understanding of architecture, engineering, construction, and digital transformation trends across the built environment.
Experience developing go‑to‑market strategies, market positioning, pricing, and commercial frameworks for technology products or platforms.
Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging data, AI‑enabled tools, and cloud technologies to drive strategic decisions.
Demonstrated ability to engage executive stakeholders, customers, and partners as a trusted advisor and industry thought leader.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Strategy, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
