A Snapshot of Your Day
As Head of Product Lifecycle Management Service (PLM-SV), you will lead the global organization responsible for Service Portfolio Management, Product Lifecycle Management, Innovation Management, R&D Governance, and the Service Engineering Excellence (SEE) community within Grid Technologies Product Management. In this role, you will shape the future of the Grid Technologies Service portfolio by defining portfolio strategies, guiding investment decisions, and driving lifecycle excellence across our global Service offerings. You will translate customer needs, market developments, technology trends, and business priorities into competitive, future-ready solutions that maximize value across the installed base and support sustainable growth. Just as importantly, you will lead and develop a high-performing global organization, foster strong cross-functional collaboration, and cultivate a culture of innovation, accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Lead the Service Portfolio
- Define and execute the strategy for the global Service portfolio.
- Own portfolio roadmaps, investment priorities, and lifecycle decisions.
- Drive portfolio competitiveness, profitability, and long-term growth.
- Ensure portfolio decisions are informed by customer, market, and business insights.
Drive Innovation and Lifecycle Excellence
- Lead Product Lifecycle Management, Innovation Management, and R&D Governance across the Service portfolio.
- Prioritize development and innovation activities to maximize business impact.
- Strengthen lifecycle and obsolescence management across the installed base.
- Leverage digitalization, analytics, and AI to improve portfolio and investment decisions.
Enable Cross-Functional Execution
- Build strong partnerships across Product Management, Service, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and regional organizations.
- Align stakeholders around portfolio priorities and strategic initiatives.
- Influence key business decisions, including investment, sourcing, and growth opportunities.
- Represent Service portfolio priorities in management and customer discussions.
Build Organizational Capability
- Lead and develop the global PLM-SV organization.
- Strengthen critical capabilities, succession pipelines, and leadership development.
- Foster a strong and connected Service Engineering Excellence (SEE) community.
- Create an inclusive environment where people can perform, grow, and succeed.
What You Bring
- Proven success leading global teams in complex matrix organizations.
- Extensive experience in Product Management, Service Portfolio Management, Product Lifecycle Management, or related functions.
- Strong understanding of service business models, portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, and installed-base businesses.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to build trust and alignment across functions, regions, and leadership levels.
- Strong customer orientation and collaborative mindset.
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
