The Assistant Maître D’Hotel supervises all Dining Service Team members to ensure excellent service to Guests. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Control cleanliness and mise en place of all restaurant service stations before and after each service. Oversee the daily work of the Dining Service Crew in the assigned restaurant. Handle and resolve guest complaints regarding dining quality and service. Assist the Maître D’Hotel in cost control by monitoring inventory closely. Ensure compliance with quality and sanitation standards across all restaurants, crew mess rooms, and room service, supporting the Maître D’Hotel. Qualifications & Skills Education in hotel/catering industry or equivalent experience in a 4/5-star restaurant, hotel, or resort. Fluent in English, both oral and written. Proficiency in additional European languages (Italian, Portuguese, German, Spanish, French) is advantageous. Strong management and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Passion for hospitality and customer service. Cruise industry experience is preferred.
