QUALITY CONTROLLER

Reporting to the Section Leader, the Quality Controller’s duties include undertaking a series of jobs for which you are trained or competent to perform, related to the production of IrvinGQ products.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Carry out inspection tasks assigned by the Section Leader or Operations ManagerParticipate in and deliver any training requested by the companyRecord relevant information to ensure lot traceabilityCheck traceability of all work carried out in the production processCorrect booking of daily timesheetsMaintain and improve the quality of products where possibleAdhere to health and safety policies and keep all working areas clean, tidy, and organizedUndertake miscellaneous tasks as directed by the Section LeaderDemonstrate initiative by looking ahead to ensure minimum downtime on all jobsEssential Qualifications and Skills:Excellent attention to detailAbility to detect and act upon manufacturing discrepanciesAble to read drawings and understand written instructionsStrong measuring ability, using devices such as rulers, tape, Vernier, and table markingsMotivated and enthusiasticBasic understanding of computersAbility to work as part of a team and independentlyGood communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to ask for advice and training when requiredHelpful Skills:Experience in a manufacturing environmentPrevious experience with industrial sewing machines, including single needle, zig-zag, bar-tack, twin needle, 4 needle, automatic, Adler, over-lockerPhysical / Safety Considerations:Strict adherence to safety rules and regulations within all IrvinGQ environmentsIf you are interested in applying for the role, please submit your CV and Application Form to hr@irvingq.com.For more information or to share a story, please contact IrvinGQ. #J-18808-Ljbffr
