Join to apply for the Senior Accountant role at Jobs via eFinancialCareers.For an international organization, we are hiring a Senior GL Accountant for an unlimited term contract.The ideal candidate holds a CPA / ACCA or Brevet Federal and has 7 to 10 years of experience in a GL role in Switzerland or France.ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee general ledger accounting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards (French and/or Swiss Statutory).Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.Ensure proper documentation and review of all transactions posted in the general ledger.Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Support external audits.Mentor and support junior accountants as needed.Requirements: CPA or ACCA, 7-10 years of experience as a GL accountant, ideally with experience in a Big4.Soon available (1 month notice).Autonomous and pragmatic individual.Proficiency in French and English (C1 level).Additional InformationSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Accounting, Auditing, and Finance#J-18808-Ljbffr
