The position is open immediately.Focus Will Be On:Medical Strategy and field interactionsProactive and reactive provision of relevant medical, indication and product specific information to relevant stakeholders, brand team, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other relevant HCPsCreate, communicate, and implement a strategic publication plan in coordination with the global publication strategyBuild strong, sustainable partnerships with relevant partners (physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other HCPs) and a thought leader networkEngage with professional societies to implement medical scientific partnershipsMedical and scientific representative of the company at national and international congresses, symposia, investigator meetings, and similar eventsConceptualize, budget, initiate, and follow up on medical projectsMedical ManagementAct as an Expert in rare diseases and propose actively medical expertise in the cross-functional collaboration (local brand team)Advising internal stakeholders on product-specific and other medical requestsEnsure proper documentation of relevant medical insights into designated internal documentation tools and prepare medical statements and drug informationClose support of the specialist departments (Regulatory, Market Access, PV) and of the release promotional and medical information materialPlan, design, and execute medical education events for physicians, nurses, etc. (e.g., advisory boards, round table meetings, symposia)Qualifications require:Medical or scientific background, preferable with an MD or PhD5 years work experience in medical affairs, ideally also in a field-based roleExperience in rare diseases / gastrointestinal or hepatology is a bonusDeep understanding and capability to identify and proactively gather strategically relevant insights via different channelsAbility to engage a broad set of healthcare stakeholders, including health care professionals and patient advocacy groups in highest level of scientific exchange, tailored to individual needs/preferencesExperienced in setting up valuable engagement and communication plans reflecting the cross-functional workUnderstanding and capability to communicate scientific data (clear, concise, and succinct)Ability to work cross-functionally with a limited number of stakeholder functionsFamiliar with Swiss compliance regulationsGood understanding of the Swiss pharmaceutical marketGood communication skills, independent and proactive way of workingFluent in German and English, French is an advantageOur offer:Innovative portfolioA meaningful job with real added value for society and patientsPersonal development and the opportunity to actively contribute to the company\’s successA pleasant and personal working atmosphereCommunication at all levels and an open corporate cultureHybrid working and flexible working hoursSeniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionResearch, Analyst, and Information TechnologyIndustriesPharmaceutical Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
