As a Demand Planning Manager, you will drive the tactical purchase planning process for all products to ensure availability of finished goods and execution plan feasibility in accordance with Supply Chain inventory policy. Additionally, you will manage effective supply forecasting and business planning, and oversee site data master processes to maintain accurate master data in the company system.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory management – placing import orders based on actual stock level and forecast, considering SAP parameters, and following up deliveries.
Inventory optimization based on MOQ, MOC, and safety stock level ratio.
Forecast adjustments.
SAP master data maintenance.
Coordination and execution of product life cycle events including new launches, transfers, divestments, pruning and expirations.
Accountable for Sales and Business Planning documentation and reports maintenance.
Preparation of reports for local management, RE, and the departments.
Channel management – daily monitoring of customer forecast accuracy.
Monitoring of write‑offs and conducting monthly review of stock overview reports.
Ensure compliance with Novartis Global Operating Procedures, national regulation requirements, and international trade governing rules.
Essential Requirements
University degree in logistics, supply chain, economics, or business management.
Experience in supply chain or logistics planning.
Full professional proficiency in English.
Knowledge of SAP / Kinaxis an advantage.
Strong time‑management skills.
Effective communication skills.
Desirable Requirements
Proficiency in German.
Experience in pharmaceutical supply chain.
