Cardiopulmonary Sales Specialist - Remodulin/Orenitram (US Northeast) — Remote Eligible

Location: Remote

Compensation: $150,000 – $165,000 per year (base salary only; additional incentives and benefits available)

About the Role

As the Remodulin/Orenitram Cardiopulmonary Specialist (ROCPS), you will promote and support the use of Remodulin® and Orenitram® among physicians, nurses, and specialty pharmacy staff within the US Northeast territory (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut). Your responsibilities include:

  • Engage in direct, face‑to‑face meetings with targeted healthcare professionals.
  • Serve as an educational resource, communicating product information and disease‑state knowledge.
  • Analyze sales data and develop territory business plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align strategies and optimize customer engagement.
  • Utilize sales tools, marketing resources, and the sales force automation system to maximize effectiveness and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain compliance with commercial, regulatory, and administrative requirements (e.g., call reporting, expense management).
  • Stay current on PAH therapy, the competitive landscape, and attend industry meetings and conferences.
  • Participate in approved patient support group meetings and collaborate on patient awareness programs.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in nursing or life sciences) or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience selling pharmaceutical therapies or similar products to specialty physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals, or 6+ years of healthcare/nursing experience with advanced lung disease, 2+ years of specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales, and 2+ years selling within institutional or major teaching‑center environments.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Expertise in cardiovascular and/or pulmonary disease therapeutic area.
  • Strong leadership, proven selling record, outstanding communication skills, and demonstrated decision‑making, planning, and interpersonal skills.
  • Complete knowledge of United Therapeutics products and services.

Travel and Residency

You must reside in the territory and be willing to travel approximately 80% of the time, including overnight visits and participation in national events and conferences.
