- Represent the Timberland brand in the Industrial and Casual marketplace with independent specialty retailers across Wisconsin, Minnesota, the Dakotas, and Iowa
- Own the assigned territory end-to-end to drive sustainable growth and profitability through planning, sell-in, and sell-through
- Manage the order book throughout each season by converting on-order shipments and monitoring territory inventory
- Drive at-once sales and achieve the annual sales target
- Identify territory challenges and opportunities and communicate them to management
- Find solutions to territory challenges and opportunities
- Provide marketplace insights and feedback on competition, accounts, new business, and territory health through travel and account visits
- Partner with Customer Service, Planning, Merchandising, and Marketing within the Timberland Americas team
- Execute brand and marketplace strategies, including allocation, product segmentation, and launches
- Develop and support partnerships with customers and consumers across designated territory and accounts
- Maintain updated account records and provide updates to management and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience and professional achievements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to identify root causes using appropriate analytical and problem-solving techniques
- Ability to develop practical solutions with limited information using prior experience, precedent, and sound judgment
- Ability to evaluate information, interpret findings, and determine appropriate courses of action
- Ability to anticipate potential issues and take proactive steps to address them
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Availability to work nights and weekends as needed for events and promotional activities
- Candidates should reside in the Minneapolis region
- Formal education in a related field is mentioned as desirable but is not required
