- Independent preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements for multiple entities in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Onboarding of newly acquired subsidiaries into the existing group structure
- Ensuring timely and accurate payment processing
- Contribution to consolidation and group financial statements under IFRS in close coordination with the Head of Accounting
- Active participation in ongoing digitalization and process optimization projects within the finance department
- Handling ad-hoc requests from executive management and preparing reports for shareholders and the supervisory board
- Point of contact for external partners such as auditors and tax advisors
- Professional leadership and targeted development of a cohesive accounting team; prospective assumption of disciplinary responsibility
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in business administration or commercial vocational training with further qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified accounting specialist)
- Solid knowledge of HGB and proven experience in independently preparing annual financial statements
- Initial leadership/supervisory experience
- Excellent German language skills; English skills are an advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central and/or Luca Net desirable
- Resilience and strong organizational skills, especially during closing-intensive periods
