- Lead and develop the accounting team of 3 employees.
- Ensure and oversee financial accounting and the timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB.
- Provide clear and meaningful reporting to management and the CFO.
- Drive digitization and automation of finance and accounting processes.
- Responsible for cash flow management, including liquidity planning and forecasting.
- Collaborate with Controlling to ensure robust financial planning and budgeting processes.
- Coordinate external annual audit and tax audits.
Requirements
- University degree in business administration, economics or a related field — ideally with a focus on finance, accounting or auditing.
- Proven track record in the digitization and optimization of finance and accounting processes.
- Several years of professional experience in a leadership role within finance and accounting, ideally in an e-commerce, technology or fast-growing company.
- Solid knowledge of accounting under HGB and a strong understanding of German tax law.
- Confident user of DATEV and ideally experience with other ERP and financial systems.
- Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style.
- Business-fluent German and fluent English (minimum B2), both written and spoken.
