- Advise business functions on compliance and evolve the regional Global Ethics & Compliance program
- Serve as advisor to regional and local commercial and medical teams across the product portfolio
- Review and advise on interactions with patients, patient organisations, healthcare professionals, institutions, payors, regulatory agencies and other external stakeholders
- Draft and implement policies, procedures and guidance with Legal and Ethics & Compliance colleagues
- Support transparency reporting requirements and reporting obligations
- Conduct or assist with compliance-related investigations and misconduct allegations
- Prepare and deliver Ethics & Compliance training and education, including to field-based employees
- Foster argenx’s strong ethical culture
- Lead and contribute to compliance projects, issues and priorities across the Global Legal and Compliance function
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 4-7 years of regional biopharmaceutical industry experience in a relevant compliance function
- Extensive experience within a commercial stage pharmaceutical or biotech company
- Regional experience launching new products and/or new indications
- Experience with healthcare compliance systems, training employees, engagement of healthcare professionals and transparency
- Strong understanding of European corporate commercial healthcare law and regulation related to pharmaceutical product development and commercialisation
- Expertise in relevant industry codes and guidelines
- Legal degree preferred; other relevant accreditations or degrees considered
- Fluent in English
- Travel 25-30%
- Regional experience in specialty markets, particularly rare diseases, preferred
