  • Engage in the exchange of scientific data and medical/scientific information with KOLs, HCPs, researchers, pharmacists and population-based decision makers.
  • Demonstrate understanding of solid tumors, including thoracic malignancies, and other tumors of interest within clinical development and strategic medical plans.
  • Establish, foster, cultivate and maintain peer relationships with KOLs.
  • Act as the primary clinical/scientific resource to HCPs regarding disease state and company products.
  • Identify and maintain lists of relevant medical/therapeutic area experts and investigators, and develop engagement plans.
  • Support company-sponsored trials and investigator-initiated studies research initiatives.
  • Identify and report medical insights.
  • Identify research gaps and educational needs to inform medical strategy.
  • Respond to information requests and present/discuss scientific and clinical data compliantly.
  • Perform disease management and therapeutic‑area education with practitioners, payers and researchers.
  • Attend medical conferences and collect/report scientific, clinical and competitive intelligence to internal partners.
  • Maintain company policies, procedures, principles and financial controls with integrity and professionalism.

Requirements

  • A terminal scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP or DVM) is required.
  • 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 4 years’ experience as an Oncology Medical Science Liaison function is required.
  • Knowledge or experience in the Oncology therapeutic area is required.
  • Experience in thoracic malignancies preferred.
  • Established relationships with KOLs in thoracic malignancies and knowledge of institutions focused on Solid Tumor Malignancies preferred.
  • Drug launch experience is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, pharma regulations/compliant practices, and OIG guidelines.
  • Residency in the assigned territory.
  • Possession and maintenance of a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
