Associate Director, Regional Marketing – Mid-Atlantic Region

  • Lead and execute regional marketing plans
  • Work with the Agency of Record and home office to develop and execute regional marketing plans, including asset deployment, media execution, geo-targeting, and congress planning
  • Identify, monitor, and report key performance metrics for the region
  • Align with cross-functional matrix teams on local account planning
  • Identify local and regional HCPs for commercial projects, webcasts, videos, promotional materials, and training opportunities
  • Identify, develop, and engage local and regional hematology/oncology thought leaders and KOLs
  • Map regional thought-leader influence and support regional account-plan development and execution
  • Develop and execute regional advisory boards and third-party programs
  • Identify and develop HCPs for the ADC Therapeutics Speaker Bureau for ZYNLONTA and disease-state programs
  • Attend key regional and national conferences, meet thought leaders and customers, and gather competitive insights
  • Coordinate company presence onsite with field leadership
  • Arrange meetings with thought leaders and company leadership
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing on geotargeting and advertising opportunities
  • Gather insights for headquarters and field leadership
  • Collaborate with headquarters, field commercial and medical teams, and Clinical Development on KOL coordination and role boundaries
  • Monitor the lymphoma treater landscape and relevant external competitor events and data
  • Coordinate and execute local Patient Advocacy events with Patient Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Sales
  • Manage agency partnerships and ensure appropriate budget allocation with the Regional Marketing Lead
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5 or more years' work experience required in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Experience in hematology and oncology, including academic settings
  • Product launch experience in hematology or oncology
  • At least 2 years' previous direct experience with hematology thought leaders (physician and nurse)
  • Demonstrated access to academic and key institutions
  • 2 years of experience in marketing/agency or another related in-house commercial role
  • 2+ years previous field sales or market access leadership experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is preferred
  • Proven and thorough knowledge of commercial issues associated with highly competitive hematology/oncology therapeutic areas is preferred
  • Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic thinking skills
  • Comfort understanding and explaining complex clinical data and disease state information with internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding qualitative and/or quantitative goals
  • Experience developing strategy and executing tactics with oversight or direct management of budget
  • 40-50% domestic travel required
  • Health care certification/qualification (e.g. RN, RPh, other) is preferred
