Responsibilities
- Interact and collaborate with others across all levels of the Firm and occasionally with clients
- Perform quality control reviews of assurance engagements
- Analyze observations and findings and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate proactively to develop process improvements
- Serve as a technical resource for engagement teams through research and consultation on professional standards and generally accepted accounting principles
- Assist in developing and maintaining assurance methodology and practice aids for new standards and related learning
- Develop thought leadership for internal and external users
- Support the Private Industries practice, including Real Estate, Retail, Healthcare, and/or International
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 6 years of experience in a public accounting environment or equivalent
- CPA or equivalent
- Supervisory experience driving strategic management required
- Current on professional standards, FASB, and GAAS
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Solid analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to engagement teams and clients
- Ability to use various assurance research tools effectively
- Ability to collaborate effectively on technical accounting and assurance topics
- Location is flexible
