- Responsibility for monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
- Preparation of reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Management of cash flow and working capital
- Ensuring processes comply with HGB and IFRS
- Serving as a point of contact for management, auditors, and external partners
- Analyzing profitability and financial performance
- Optimizing existing finance processes
- Leading and developing a small finance team
Requirements
- Completed commercial training, a degree in economics or business administration, or a comparable qualification with a focus on accounting or finance
- Several years of experience in finance or accounting
- Very good knowledge of German GAAP (HGB)
- Experience with IFRS is an advantage
- Experience with financial statements, reporting, and forecasting
- Proficiency in Excel and common ERP systems
- Strong numerical aptitude and an analytical approach to work
- Experience in an international environment is an advantage
- Excellent English skills
- Independent, hands-on working style
