- Achieve or exceed annual revenue targets for facility validation, environmental monitoring, and calibration/metrology services
- Leverage existing relationships to penetrate accounts and prospect for new accounts
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies for facility validation and instrument qualification/calibration services
- Use industry websites, construction databases, trade publications, associations, regulatory filings, and market research to identify new construction opportunities
- Execute in-person client meetings, lead stakeholder discussions, and secure contracts
- Target 15 in-person client meetings each month with decision makers
- Maintain the opportunity pipeline in CRM
- Follow up on outstanding proposals and capture opportunity closure details
- Report wins, losses, and open opportunities monthly to sales and operational leadership
- Serve as subject matter expert in facility validation, environmental monitoring, and calibration/metrology
- Partner with Business Unit leaders to align programs with laboratory capabilities across the Eurofins network
- Understand client scientific, regulatory, and business needs and develop technical work scopes and solutions
- Facilitate project hand-off meetings with project management and operations
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes
- Attend industry conferences and trade shows to network and promote services
Requirements
- Based in Western US
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in life sciences, environmental sciences, engineering, or business administration
- A minimum of 3 years of directly relevant sales experience in facility validation/environmental monitoring and/or instrument calibration/metrology services
- Experience with biopharmaceutical and/or medical device manufacturing
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to travel at least 40% of the time
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards including FDA, cGMP, and ISO 17025
