- Serve as a trusted and reliable resource for adolescent and young adult behavioral healthcare in the community
- Identify market strategy, build and deepen professional relationships, and optimize potential opportunities to increase Newport Healthcare’s reach
- Respond immediately to service and referral inquiries and support the referring professional and family from the first call through admission
- Ensure communication and care coordination
- Identify and prospect new healthcare-sector accounts
- Build relationships with medical professionals, increase awareness of the organization’s services, and generate new business opportunities
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with key decision makers to uncover needs, address barriers to treatment, and create community partnerships
- Plan and attend facility tours, professional weekends, events, conferences, and networking events
- Collaborate with the national team of Clinical Outreach Specialists, including weekly team calls and quarterly field rides
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or closely related field OR minimum two (2) years of direct experience in a behavioral health setting/pharmaceutical sales
- Experience with communication principles, practices, and techniques applicable to a healthcare environment
- Extensive experience in creating, maintaining, and delivering marketing strategies to meet objectives
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer experience
- Living in or close enough to your designated territory so you can meet the requirement of visiting your assigned locations on a prompt and regular basis
