Responsibilities
- Build and maintain clinical/scientific relationships with Advanced Practice Providers and other healthcare professionals
- Communicate and advance Neurocrine's scientific position in alignment with Medical Affairs strategy
- Support educational outreach on disease-state pathophysiology, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment options, focusing on Community Mental Health Centers
- Develop relationships with local, regional, and national advanced practice KOLs and other HCPs
- Identify knowledge gaps across clinical practice settings and provider types
- Deliver scientific education aligned with Medical Affairs' scientific narrative
- Partner with national and state professional organizations to support education
- Stay current on literature and research within the therapeutic area
- Identify and recommend research opportunities and project sites
- Serve as a scientific resource and trainer for internal Neurocrine teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners on initiatives
- Attend relevant medical congresses and provide insights
- Recommend field resources for CPLs, including slides and publications
- Complete required reports and assignments by established deadlines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Master's degree, NP, CNS, PA or equivalent AND 4+ years of similar experience, OR PhD, DNP, or PharmD degree AND 2+ years of similar experience
- Knowledge of best practices in the functional discipline and familiarity with broader underlying concepts of related business disciplines
- Developing reputation inside the company related to area of expertise
- Ability to work as part of and lead laterally on projects

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects/programs with accuracy and efficiency

- Clinical expertise in Psychiatry or Neurology
- Maintains professional license, including advanced practice licensure and certification per individual state requirements
- Ability to represent NBI professionally
- Ability to follow fiscal and compliance guidelines
- Ideal candidate will live in Washington DC or the greater Richmond, Virginia area, close to a large airport
