• Lead a team of compute sales specialists and drive growth across enterprise customers throughout the Northeast U.S.
• Execute HPE’s compute sales strategy and deliver business results through customer engagement, pipeline development, market penetration, and complex deal execution
• Communicate direction aligned with the company’s vision and strategy
• Inspire the team to meet and exceed sales goals while increasing profitability
• Recruit, develop, coach, retain, and performance-manage sales talent
• Organize team coverage and adapt resources to maximize market coverage and financial performance
• Orchestrate major enterprise-level customer engagements
• Manage escalations and drive solutions that convert challenges into business opportunities
• Engage senior customer executives and align HPE solutions with customer needs
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers and partners
• Drive new business development and a strong hunting mentality
• Guide technical positioning, IT investment strategies, and pricing approaches
• Partner with channel, presales, legal, and other sales teams
• Establish and manage pipeline development, forecasting, and end-to-end sales execution
• Oversee strategic and tactical sales planning at segment and account levels
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and insights into customer trends and market dynamics
• Deliver customer feedback, competitive insights, and win/loss analysis
Requirements
- University or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of enterprise technology sales experience
- 5+ years of experience managing high-performing sales teams preferred
- Experience leading teams responsible for complex enterprise technology or infrastructure sales
- Experience recruiting, developing, coaching, and performance-managing sales talent
- Demonstrated success driving pipeline development, forecasting, account planning, and complex deal execution
- Strong executive-level customer engagement and relationship-management experience
- Compute, server, data center, hybrid cloud, AI infrastructure, or related enterprise infrastructure sales experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated excellence in project and business management
- Must be located within the Northeast U.S.; locations between North Carolina and Massachusetts preferred
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the Northeast territory
- Strong enterprise technology sales leadership and sales-team coaching skills
- Strong understanding of enterprise compute, server, data center, hybrid cloud, AI infrastructure, and related technology solutions
- Strong strategic and tactical sales planning, territory management, account prioritization, pipeline management, forecasting, and deal execution skills
- Strong executive presence and relationship-building skills
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strong knowledge of the IT industry, technology trends, competitive landscape, and enterprise customer needs
- Ability to work effectively across presales, channel, product/category, legal, and sales organizations
