- Identify and collect necessary information from internal and external sources and prepare data for analysis
- Advise colleagues on data transformation and imputation techniques
- Identify and extract appropriate information from various databases
- Transform variables and prepare input files for modeling software
- Impute missing values and correct problematic data
- Transfer information to statistical software
- Apply linear and logistic regression, descriptive statistics, clustering, forecasting, mapping, and simulation to analyze trends and patterns
- Develop predictive models
- Maintain and routinely update collected data
- Ensure data updates are reflected in existing analyses
- Develop reporting functionality for refreshable reports and dashboards
- Create, package, and communicate analytic work using models, data visualizations, graphs, plots, information graphics, tables, and charts
- Compile, interpret, and present results verbally and in writing using Tableau, Tableau Server, Microsoft Office, and statistical modeling tools
- Create dynamic Tableau Server dashboards for hospital leaders
- Develop reporting options for ongoing activities
- Provide dashboards with data and trend analyses to senior leadership for strategic decision-making
- Maintain format consistency for reports
- Assist with project plans and schedules
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines
