- Operate, maintain, and continuously enhance internal IT systems, application servers, and production platforms
- Administer Linux systems, relational databases such as PostgreSQL, backup strategies, and monitoring and deployment solutions
- Design and build specialized networks, including virtualization environments
- Maintain systems and migrate and support customer‑specific applications
- Support, modernize, and procure equipment and analysis computers
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
- Develop and operate data engineering solutions, ETL/ELT pipelines, and database structures for analytics and AI applications
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for Systems Integration, Application Development, or a comparable IT qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience in administering and engineering complex IT infrastructures
- Very strong Linux skills
- Solid experience with virtualization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Proxmox
- Strong expertise in operating databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Experience implementing modern monitoring systems
- Structured and independent working style
- High quality standards and a strong sense of responsibility
- Excellent teamwork and customer orientation
- Very good German and English language skills
