Direct Install Program Manager

• Direct all phases of Direct Install programs from inception through completion, owning cost, implementation, and performance
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering, operations, national accounts, and analytics teams across multiple regions, utilities, and programs
• Manage measure eligibility requirements and lead utility approvals
• Evaluate customer and site-specific requirements to determine appropriate Direct Install measures and participation
• Participate in contract and contract-change negotiations
• Coordinate business plans, work statements, budgets, and financial terms
• Coordinate schedules, site access, materials, and installation activities
• Develop new business and expand program scope with existing utility clients
• Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities with National Accounts
• Establish milestones, monitor program-plan adherence, and resolve problems through resource reallocation or contract renegotiation
• Serve as primary customer contact and lead program reviews on cost, schedule, and performance
• Analyze program problems and opportunities and recommend improvements to profitability and viability
• Drive scalable process improvements as Direct Install expands into new regions and programs

Requirements

• 5-8 years of program or project management experience
• Working knowledge of utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs and direct install measures
• Experience managing complex and risky programs from planning through execution
• Sales-adjacent experience with negotiating and influencing without direct authority
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams of 7-15 people in a fast-paced environment
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• PMP certification strongly preferred
• MBA strongly preferred
• Direct experience with utility clients and energy efficiency program implementation strongly preferred
• Knowledge of commercial and industrial energy efficiency technologies and measures strongly preferred
• Experience supporting multi-region program delivery and operations strongly preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship or support
• Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks
• If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
