Responsibilities Lead and manage the Sales organization across Europe (with main focus on Switzerland, France, the Nordics, the Benelux as well as Eastern Europe), with full accountability for revenue growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction.

Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company-wide growth objectives, including market penetration, account prioritization, and service portfolio positioning.

Drive sustainable revenue growth by expanding existing customer relationships and securing new business opportunities within pharma and biotech clients.

Build and further develop a high-performing, geographically distributed Sales Team through coaching, performance management, and capability building.

Establish disciplined opportunity and pipeline (funnel) management practices, ensuring transparency, predictability, and consistent conversion rates.

Own forecasting accuracy and provide reliable revenue projections to senior leadership based on data-driven insights.

Act as a trusted partner to key accounts, engaging at senior stakeholder level and positioning Solvias as a long-term strategic CRO partner.

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Project Management and Operations teams to deliver integrated customer solutions across the drug development lifecycle.

Ensure rigorous CRM adoption, data quality, and compliance across the team to enable effective decision-making and reporting.

Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in the European CRO market to continuously refine the commercial strategy.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to strengthen market visibility and brand positioning.

Requirements Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field; additional business qualification (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.

Extensive experience in B2B sales within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO/CDMO environment, with a strong understanding of CMC analytical services and drug development processes.

Proven track record of delivering significant revenue growth and managing complex sales targets in an international environment.

Demonstrated leadership experience in building, leading, and developing high-performing sales teams across multiple countries.

Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain, from early development through clinical and commercial stages, and the role of analytical testing services within it.

Strong commercial acumen combined with a strategic mindset and hands‑on execution capability.

Experience in managing complex sales cycles, including proposal development, pricing, negotiation, and contract closing.

Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
