- Design and implementation of data models and ETL pipelines using Pentaho
- Development and maintenance of reports and modern reporting solutions
- Optimization and further development of the existing data warehouse architecture and technical environment
- Monitoring data consistency and ensuring high data quality
- Investigation and resolution of errors and incidents in the production environment
- Planning and execution of tests for quality assurance
- Coordination of upcoming work within the team
- Coordination with other involved business and development teams
- Contributing to an agile work environment using Scrum and SAFe
Requirements
- Degree, vocational training, or comparable technical qualification in computer science or a related field
- Several years of experience designing and developing ETL processes
- Good practical knowledge of SQL and Oracle
- Experience with or an interest in self-service BI and user-friendly reporting solutions
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data management, and data warehouse architectures
- Knowledge of Data Vault is an advantage
- Knowledge of business processes in the tax domain, particularly assessment, taxation, or registry processes, is a plus
- Familiarity with continuous integration and test-driven development
- Practical experience with Git, Docker, and Kubernetes, as well as integrating different applications and systems
- Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Interest in continuous professional and technical development
- Fluent German and very good English skills
