- Provide functional and application design, build, and support for Epic Prelude, including registration, patient access, and related workflows
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Prelude issues and configuration challenges
- Support and optimize Patient Estimates functionality, including configuration, workflows, testing, and troubleshooting
- Support Epic E-Signature functionality within registration and patient-facing workflows
- Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and support Epic Letter Templates and related correspondence
- Evaluate Prelude workflows and recommend optimization, standardization, and user-experience improvements
- Work with Patient Access, Registration, Revenue Cycle, HIM, and other operational stakeholders to translate business requirements into Epic solutions
- Participate in requirements gathering, workflow analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support
- Develop and execute test scripts and participate in integrated, regression, and end-user testing
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution or escalation
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, patches, and new functionality
- Create and maintain application documentation, workflow documentation, configuration documentation, and training materials
- Collaborate with other Epic application teams on intersecting functionality and downstream workflows
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and communicate application impacts, recommendations, and status
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on Epic Prelude experience in a healthcare environment
- Recent, current, and demonstrable Epic Prelude experience; primarily historical experience will not be considered
- Current active Epic Prelude certification required and verifiable
- Strong understanding of Epic Patient Access/Registration workflows and Prelude functionality
- Demonstrated hands‑on experience with Patient Estimates
- Demonstrated hands‑on experience with Epic E-Signature functionality
- Demonstrated experience working with Epic Letter Templates
- Strong understanding of Prelude integration with other Epic applications and Revenue Cycle workflows
