  • Contribute to routine, non-routine, and contingency operations of complex Ground Station systems supporting GEO and LEO satellite missions

  • Monitor Ground Station and subsystem performance and quality, investigate anomalies, and contribute to resolution and mitigation

  • Support evolution and upgrades of operational Ground Station systems and services, including requirements definition, technical assessments, and operational validation

  • Contribute to implementation, verification, and operational validation of new Ground Stations and Ground Station services

  • Support operations preparation for current and future Earth Observation missions, including scenario validation, commissioning, and operational rehearsals

  • Contribute to Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) and system verification within Ground Segment environments

  • Investigate and document Ground Station anomalies and contribute to technical reviews and Anomaly Review Boards

  • Prepare and maintain operational procedures, working practices, operational guides, and technical documentation

  • Contribute to defining and optimizing monitoring and control tools, operational interfaces, and Ground Station databases

  • Coordinate technical activities with multidisciplinary teams, maintenance teams, and industrial partners

  • Provide training and technical support to operational and engineering teams through written materials, demonstrations, and presentations

  • Participate in technical meetings, reviews, planning, and coordination activities

  • Provide on-call or standby support when required


Requirements



  • Experience in the operations and engineering of complex Ground Station systems supporting satellite missions

  • Experience with Tracking, Telemetry & Command (TT&C) and Mission Data Acquisition systems

  • Experience supporting GEO and/or LEO spacecraft, ideally within Earth Observation or meteorological satellite missions

  • Experience in the evolution, upgrade, and operational validation of Ground Station systems and services

  • Experience in Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities within Ground Station or Ground Segment environments

  • Experience preparing technical and operational documentation, including requirements, design descriptions, interface specifications, test procedures, and operational procedures

  • Experience investigating, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and/or software anomalies in operational systems

  • Experience with Ground Station interfaces and Ground Segment systems, including verification and validation of interfaces

  • Practical experience with baseband system configuration and operation is highly desirable

  • Experience with monitoring and control tools and/or optimization of operational user interfaces is an advantage

  • Experience with operations and/or configuration of Space Link Extension (SLE) services is an advantage

  • Working knowledge of relevant space and technical standards, such as ECSS and CCSDS

  • Experience with document management and configuration control processes within engineering or operational environments

  • Previous experience with EUMETSAT, ESA, Copernicus, or other Earth Observation satellite programmes is highly desirable

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Fluent English
