Transcribe and/or translate Xhosa-to-English or proofread/QC subtitle files using Pixelogic proprietary cloud based subtitling software
Leverage in-house glossary tool for consistency across products as well as follow client style guide specifications
Handle rejections/make corrections in files
Remain current with industry trends, and adapt to evolving client requirements
Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive content
Work as part of a team dealing with changing priorities and workloads
Requirements
- Xhosa and English bilingual
- Knowledge of other languages is an asset
- Minimum of 1 years of translation and/or proofreading experience required
- Subtitling experience is a plus
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have demonstrated ability to accomplish work on a rigorous schedule (on-time delivery and flexible working hours)
- Ability to follow technical / style guide for multiple client content types
