- Help CMS run its enterprise AI platform with visibility and governance
- Stand up monitoring, metrics, and dashboards using Datadog and cloud-native tooling
- Build automated pipelines for governance and performance reporting
- Define and enforce usage, access, and operational guardrails
- Use Terraform, Ansible, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD for governance and reporting
- Collaborate across engineering, security, and CMS stakeholders
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in DevOps, platform, or systems engineering
- Solid AWS and DevOps skills
- Infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible
- CI/CD experience
- Cloud-native monitoring experience
- Experience with observability and reporting tooling such as Datadog, CloudWatch, Splunk, or similar
- Scripting and automation in Python or Bash
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
- Acceptable results of a background investigation
- Experience with platform governance or FinOps is a plus
- Familiarity with FISMA, RMF, ARS, or IS2P2 governance is a plus
- Previous experience supporting CMS or another federal agency is a plus
