Perform maintenance and repair work on complete engines and assemblies
Commission propulsion systems
Oversee installation, including mechanical and electronic installation
Conduct measurements and sea trials
Replace and repair defective components and equipment
Participate in installation meetings with shipyards and equipment manufacturers
Provide technical advice to customers
Requirements
- Successfully completed vocational training as a mechanic, mechatronics technician, or electronics technician
- Further training as a state-certified technician or master craftsperson is an advantage
- Solid engine knowledge preferred
- Class 3 or Category B driver's license
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- English language skills are an advantage
- High degree of initiative and a confident manner when dealing with customers
- Independent, service-oriented approach to work, along with reliability and team spirit
- Full willingness to travel and participate in on-call duty
