Commissioning Manager in Hanau

• Assist in implementing the commissioning strategy at DATA4
• Support commissioning for data center electrical, mechanical, and BMS systems
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, protocols, and schedules
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors
• Conduct site inspections and functional testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve commissioning issues
• Prepare and maintain commissioning reports and system performance documentation
• Train and support operations staff on system functionality and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices
• Provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders
• Represent DATA4 in external project meetings and with vendors, consultants, and final customers
• Identify improvements in data center mechanical systems and processes
• Support new technologies and best practices that improve reliability, efficiency, and sustainability
• Analyze performance data and metrics for optimization
• Define and update processes, workflows, templates, roles, and responsibilities
• Document operating-level processes and describe digital needs and priorities
• Establish and execute end-to-end testing and pilot scenarios
• Track defects through resolution and communicate process needs to the Solution Manager
• Respect and enforce health and safety, environmental, information security, and energy policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience in commissioning management, preferably in data center or critical facility environments
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems in data centers
• Familiarity with building codes, standards, and regulations related to data center operations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Languages: English - fluent, German - intermediate level
