- Lead, develop, and inspire the Finance team across all functional areas
- Manage direct reports across Accounting, Controlling, and Finance Operations
- Build organisational capabilities, processes, and structures for growth
- Own annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning
- Develop scalable planning structures and financial governance frameworks
- Translate financial targets into operational plans and measurable outcomes
- Improve forecast quality, business visibility, and scenario planning
- Develop financial controlling processes and management reporting
- Partner with department leaders on financial planning, cost transparency, and performance management
- Identify risks and provide actionable recommendations
- Drive cost tracking, resource planning, and investment prioritisation
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across entities and markets

- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate external audits and financial reviews
- Serve as primary financial interface to the corporate shareholder and stakeholders
- Prepare board and shareholder reporting materials
- Support capital planning and long-term financial strategy
- Own Finance processes across all markets and ensure consistency across countries
- Support international expansion through scalable financial structures and processes
- Drive Finance process professionalisation and automation
- Improve financial data quality, availability, and utilisation
- Define requirements for Finance tooling, reporting, and workflow improvements
- Collaborate with Strategic Operations, Data, Product, and Engineering on automation initiatives
- Leverage technology and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and decision quality
- Continuously improve Finance processes, controls, governance, standardisation, and operating models
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A, Accounting, or related fields
- Proven leadership experience in a scale-up, high-growth, or international environment
- Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, and business partnering
- Experience building and professionalising Finance functions and processes
- Exposure to corporate structures and shareholder reporting environments
- Experience in insurance, financial services, technology, or other regulated industries is beneficial
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Outstanding financial planning and modelling skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Proven ability to influence decision‑making at leadership level
- High degree of ownership and proactiveness
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong understanding of finance systems, reporting structures, and process design
- Interest in automation, AI, and technology‑enabled finance processes
- Full professional fluency (written and spoken) in English and German
