- Lead and develop the P&C Payroll function across the DACH region
- Take responsibility for accurate, timely monthly payroll processing, including complete month-end and year-end closings and all required provisions
- Ensure the correct tax, social security, month-end, and year-end closing treatment of all payroll matters
- Take responsibility for company pension schemes (bAV) and the associated administrative processes
- Ensure accurate internal and external audits of payroll and company pension schemes
- Manage and further develop collaboration with external payroll and company pension service providers
- Standardize, harmonize, and automate payroll and company pension processes
- Contribute to the further development of the systems landscape and transformation projects, including the implementation of SuccessFactors
- Work closely with P&C DACH, Finance, Controlling, and European and global partners
Requirements
- Extensive experience in payroll processing, with in-depth knowledge of tax and social security regulations
- Several years of experience in a responsible or leadership role within payroll, ideally in an international corporate environment
- In-depth knowledge and experience in company pension schemes
- Experience managing external service providers in payroll and/or company pension administration
- Knowledge of process management, with experience standardizing and optimizing payroll processes
- Extensive experience with payroll and time management systems, such as ATOS, SAP HCM, and SuccessFactors
- Strong understanding of payroll governance, compliance, and internal control mechanisms
- Results-oriented, pragmatic, and efficient approach, with strong execution capabilities
- Team player with excellent communication skills and a strong service orientation
- Ability to collaborate with and manage diverse stakeholders in an international and complex corporate environment
- Fluent German and very good English skills
