  • Support execution of human resources plans and practices with the HR Partner Team
  • Interact directly with clients regarding employee relations, compensation administration, benefits, talent acquisition, and organizational talent development
  • Support preparation of employee policies and procedures
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, processes, and systems
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of HR services and processes
  • Assist with projects in the annual HR operational plan and functional or cross-functional initiatives
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and state and federal regulations and ensure compliance
  • Partner with stakeholders on HR-related processes and provide updates and reports
  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues, leave of absence support, employee separations, and risk consulting
  • Conduct employee investigations, including interviews, data gathering, and delivery of results
  • Provide ad hoc training to client management teams on compliance, engagement, development, and leadership
  • Create HR metrics reports and analyze human capital data to identify trends
  • Guide benefit plan design and employee enrichment programs
  • Participate in department staff meetings and other meetings and seminars
  • Ensure employee matters are handled consistently, fairly, and without discrimination
  • Work with sales to onboard new clients and build and maintain client relationships
  • Contribute to transformational HR strategy and solutions for supported clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, with at least five (5) years of human resources experience; or a minimum of seven (7) years of human resources experience
  • PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of human resources administration, compensation, classification, employee development, and broad HR functions
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and federal and state employment regulations
  • Knowledge of facilitation, presentation, interviewing, candidate evaluation, statistical, and HR analytics methods
  • Ability to interpret and apply state and federal statutes and regulations to moderately complex HR issues
  • Ability to recommend resolutions for employment and employee relations issues
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in client relationship management tools, virtual meeting software, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to use video conferencing tools daily
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to move up to 15 pounds at times
  • Must be able to participate in video conferences and meetings
