- Conduct hygiene and food safety audits.
- Assess on-site practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Train teams on good hygiene practices and regulatory requirements.
- Support establishments in their compliance efforts.
- Conduct sampling and inspections when necessary.
- Prepare audit reports and corresponding action plans.
- Work with clients in the food service, hospitality, healthcare, and agri-food industries.
- Travel regularly within the assigned service area.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in Quality, Food Safety, Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in food safety auditing, training, or consulting.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience delivering training sessions.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in office software, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Independent contractor status (freelancer, sole proprietor, or company).
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Computer or tablet for preparing reports.
- Willingness to travel within the defined geographic area.
- Proficiency in English is an advantage but not essential.
