- Operate and further develop the heterogeneous server and client environment
- Modernize the IT infrastructure using container technologies and open-source solutions
- Automate recurring tasks through scripting and software deployment
- Manage Windows servers, virtualization, Exchange/Microsoft 365, and network and security components
- Develop and implement internal team projects
- Support end users and collaborate with specialist departments
- Contribute to cybersecurity, backup, monitoring, cloud integration, and documentation
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist or equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in the areas listed above is desirable
- Good knowledge of MS Windows Server, MS Exchange, VMware vSphere, and Microsoft 365
- Knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and Linux server systems
- Experience with MS Azure environments is an advantage
- Collegial manner, excellent communication skills, and assertiveness
- Enjoyment of sharing knowledge with others
- Independent, solution-oriented approach with a strong focus on customer service and problem-solving
- Very good German language skills (C1), both written and spoken
- Good English language skills (B2), both written and spoken
